Is it okay to tell a program in your personal statement that you'd like to be a resident at their program?

For what it's worth, I did. I can't think of any reason why not, unless it's really not true. I have two statements, one general, and one geared towards my number 1 choice, which wanted certain things addressed anyway. I think it sounds more genuine than a more general PS...
