I got this question from a questionnaire I'm filling out. At first it seemed like a simple question, but as I keep looking at it, I'm not really sure what it means. What do you guys think?

"What personal factors do you consider the most important for self-evaluation?"

Huh? Personal factors? What are they asking and how would you answer? Thanks.

On the top of my head right now, the personal factors for me would be my weakness and strength. i.e. my laziness and lack of motivation. However, I wouldn't recommend to write that because pharm schools wouldn't want to hear someone's lack of motivation, lol. I hope that helps and give you some ideas how to answer. 🙂 good luck!

Thanks appleturnover...I mean cherry.

That's the approach I was originally going to take, listing what strengths I feel are most important for self-evaluation, but then the next question was:

"What attributes do you possess that support you as a notable candidate for admission to the college?"

Which seems to me to be asking, "Do you have any of the personal factors that you listed on the previous question?" Which seems kind of strange to ask.

But then I was thinking that maybe 'personal factors' might mean how do you evaluate whether or not you have been successful at something, which would require a different answer.

But now I'm just confusing and boring us all. Maybe I'll just answer with something weird, like "Yes." or "Apple butter."

Haha, maybe you think too much, lol, just answer the questions as how the questions are asked. Well, if it's me, for the first question I would name the personal factor and give an example or an experience that I have which helped me to evaluate myself and maybe the experience has also helped me to change for better.

As for the second question, I think the school just want to know that why do you think the admission committee wants you. This may be related to the previous question depends how you answer it.

Man, why do the school ask so much. Anyhoo, good luck on those questions!

i haven't stopped thinking about these questions. i think a few of them were tricky. oh well now. see you friday that1guy.
