do the dat tell us if there is an excess of a reagent? for example, excess BR2 with a triple bond will give different answer than just BR2.
i been taking orgo practice tests and getting questions with triple bond wrong because the questions didn't mention an excess.
 
They must have had a 2 in front of the compound being added, usually more commonly the way to show excess.
