Hey guys, I am a Canadian student going into my 3rd year and am planning to apply to both Canadian and American dental schools probably next summer. My question is, how do you go about getting reference letters for your application before hand? I just did 2 research semesters with a professor and he said he could provide me with a reference letter if needed, but I don't know how to go about it. Do I just keep an online copy of it and once upload it once I start my application next year? I don't want to ask for it next year because by then my prof would probably forget some details (I won't be seeing him again in classes likely). Thanks for any advice!

use interfolio.com to store your letter for later

So does anyone have any input on this? Should I just ask for the reference letter and keep it saved for when I need to submit it next year? Do you just upload a PDF of the letter to AADSAS? Thanks!

1. Yes definitely
2. Once the letter is uploaded to interfolio, all you hvae to do is put the interfolio generated email of the document to aadsas and pay 4$/letter, and interfolio take care of the delivery.

That really sucks that AADSAS moved over to that system. It was a lot easier last year. What was you experience with Interfolio?
