question about rejection

So Im looking through predents.com and I come accross this user has has a 3.67oGPA/ 3.6 sGPA with a 22/22 on his DAT. Has a **** tone of EC's, Research, tutoring etc

He dint get accepted into any schools he applied to last year and is re-applying this year

What Im wondering is what could be the reasons he dint get in?

My stats are not anywhere close to his , so im getting a little paranoid here

I mean, he might have a criminal record or something else that you wouldn't know about just by looking at predents. He or she is definitely qualified so it's not because his stats were too low or something

Lol this is a funny thought. Does anyone know of a really ugly dentist? lol, I know a few dentists but they avoid the dweller of the cave appearance unlike some Walmart works I've seen.

It is likely there was some problem with his application (criminal record, DUI, etc), he lied on the application, or he had circumstances where he could not interview.

Keep in mind that Pre-Dents doesn't keep application cycle stats separate if you have updated your application since last applying. If the application had a 17 DAT score last cycle and re-took for this new cycle then the software updates both this new cycle AND the last one. Thus, it can appear that the applicant applied last cycle with high stats but in reality he/she updated their stats this cycle and it changed all the previous cycles...

Maybe he smelled. Some people have really bad body odor or a natural smell that just stinks up a room. I doubt too many schools would want him to stink up their joint.
