Question about retaking a class - at a diff. university

I current live 7 hours from the first university I attended. I desperately need to fix a few grades following a dropout without proper withdraw years ago.

My question is if I received an F in calculus at one university can I retake that same calculus class at a different university and that grade be averaged or list it happen at the original university I received the failing grade?
