There are several courses I'd like to retake at a university closer to my house, and they are indeed offered through continuing education there. However, at my previous institution, they were considered four-credit courses. If it matters, the classes were general genetics and Calculus I/II. I don't know why they were considered four-credit courses - they were in a normal time slot, there was no lab involved, and most everything else at the school was considered a three-credit course. At this university, they are only considered three-credit courses.

I have heard of some osteopathic medical schools looking down on retakes where credits don't match, so how would I go about retaking them? Do I have to look elsewhere to retake them?
