Question about scribing

Hey everyone, for those of you who have worked as a medical scribe in the past, did any of you ever work for less than a year? I noticed that most companies seem to ask for a one-year commitment but I was wondering how strict they actually are about that. Thanks for your help!

Yes it happens. I worked for over a year, but several of my coworkers mysteriously stopped showing up due to as many reasons as you could think up: some were not cut for the job, some got better jobs and quit, some couldn't deal with the schedule and school, etc. My company was smaller though, and I'm guessing it will be company dependent, but really it seems the only thing they hold over you is a non-compete contract.
