Hey guys, Im new to this site and i have some questions about secondary applications:

1- How are secondaries sent? (E-mail, snail mail, etc..)
2- How do you submitt them? (E-mail, snail mail, etc..)
3- I know you have to pay a fee with each secondary but what method do you have to use to pay this? (credit/debit card online, bank check through snail mail, etc..)

Im applying on the next cycle but my family wants to go to South America and visit some relatives. We're supposed to leave around mid May and come back at the beggining of August. I have to find out if I can send and pay my applications online or if I have to stay here instead because I have to use snail mail to pay and submitt all that.

Thanks

1. The vast majority of secondaries are sent by e-mail. You will start receiving secondaries after you submit your AMCAS (even before you are verified) up until several weeks/months after for whatever reason.

2. You submit the vast majority through online applications, but quite a few require you to send some material (secondary application, fee or picture etc.) via snail mail.

3. Most of them you can pay by credit card online. A few of them you have to use a check or money order and send it via snail mail.

Assuming that you have an internet connection, you will be able to send the majority of your secondary applications out online and pay for them online. Brings stamps, envelopes and checks for the few that require you to send in something.
