Question about sending MCAT scores...

Ok...on Thursday night, I used THx to submit my August scores to AACOMAS and then on Friday the AACOMAS application updated with my scores.

Now, do I need to do anything to get these scores to my designated schools, or will they automatically get them?

Thanks...the final pieces are all coming together...they should be getting my LOR's and MCAT scores at pretty much the same time....along with my secondaries.

Now, the waiting game really begins.

I was just a little confused because my AACOMAS was sent out a long time ago...wasn't sure if I needed to send a trigger to have the system submit my scores.

I released my scores as soon as they came out and when i checked my AACOMAS status I saw that they had uploaded it on the 13th, and my application was updated and set out to the schools yesterday the 15th.

Never mind, I finally found where the updated versions have been sent out as of yesterday.

I figured it was just an electronic update, and not an entirely new app.

that's because you did it friday night. they probably just got your request this morning so give it some time! they'll have it updated by tomorrow hopefully! 👍

I'm all updated as well. The Revised was sent out 10/15/06.

no, i didn't (for aacomas), so im concerned schools won't be aware. i made a couple calls today and schools said i could fax but ultimately they would need official scores. umdnj was especially helpful. another school (that shall remain nameless) was kind of rude and said "do whatever u want."

A while back COMP had sent me an e-mail telling me to email them my verification code once my scores came out.

Yes I sent the email sometime on Friday. But if you released your scores to AACOMAS the schools should be receiving them soon anyway.

how do u know they were updated. mine says 10/13. but i dont know if they sent them out??

Go to "designations".

Mine now shows the two dates they've been sent, with the word "revised" by the 10/15 submissions.

I didnt think there was a thing on the AACOMAS to mark about the August MCAT. I already have three interviews from my old score, but want my new one to be considered as well. I updates AACOMAS, and the new score is reflected on AACOMAS app now, but Im not sure if schools wil see it now or not since I didnt mark anyhwere on my AACOMAS that i would take it.
