I understand that SMPs generally require 3 letters of rec. I am planning to have 1 from an non-science professor at my university, two from my two PIs (one is a medical school professor at my university). Would that be good enough or should I attempt obtain a letter specifically from a science professor (undergrad) that I took a course with?
