I am really REALLY into snowboarding. I went snowboarding about 5-6 days a week this year. I actually broke my arm last weekend, and it's the second time I have broken my arm snowboarding. 😡 My question is this... I am moving to North Carolina outside Charlotte - does anyone know if there's any snowboarding around that area? I looked online and all I found was small mountains over 3 hours away. I know that I won't have lots of time to go, but maybe over Thanksgiving or Christmas break...

Boone (Appalachian, Beech, Sugar, Hawks Nest) or West Virginia (Winterplace, Snowshoe Mt) is about all you get for snowboarding/skiing around here and is the closest to you. There are also places around Sapphire Valley, in western NC. My boyfriend snowboards and he likes WVa best; I've only been to Appalachian. I'm not sure what you're used to for conditions, so you might be disappointed with what the southeast has to offer

Sorry, I know it's not really pharmacy related, but I don't know who else to ask.
