Question about specific secondary prompt

Hey guys. One of my secondary prompts asks me to describe both parents (where they were raised, 4-5 traits, your rapport with them, etc...) My mom passed away when I was in middle school and I grew up with my grandmother. Should I describe my grandmother instead for this? Or should I describe my experiences with my mother up until she passed away?

Is it worth it to call the school to ask about this specific question?

i think talking about your grandmother would be more than appropriate, if you chose to do so. the term "parents" could probably extend to any guardian

They specifically said "mother" and "father". But I guess if I write about my grandmother and perhaps specify that I grew up with her that would be good enough?
