Curious if I should answer this prompt: Please explain any inconsistencies in your university, graduate, or professional school academic performance and/or MCAT scores. If the question does not apply to you, please put N/A in the box provided (1000 characters)

My first 3 semesters of college, I had a couple B- and Bs (was constantly sick and had two operations in my first two years), but I still had around a 3.4-3.5. Those experiences reaffirmed my goal to become a physician, so I made some changes (lifestyle, study habits, etc.) and had straight As for the next 5 semesters. Would this upward trend be something I should mention, even if my GPA was not that low in the beginning.
 
I agree, though the prompt is also good at helping us screen out those who are overly neurotic or perfectionist.
