Hey everyone! I'm a 2nd year DO student that needs some advice on how to best utilize the next 6 months until my COMLEX/USMLE exam in mid-June.

I am struggling to choose whether or not to review the Kaplan videos to get a comprehensive review of the material or to use the DIT videos to get through first aid while I am taking my 2nd semester classes. I am also trying to do about 25 questions every day from combank/usmlerx and will start USMLE world soon.

Background: My issue is that I have always been one of these students that has been at the top of my classes (currently in top 10) but I tend to perform below average on standardized exams: 23 MCAT, GRE, SAT, etc. So this time around for the step/comlex, I want to put all my energy and focus into getting a decent score, so that I don't have doors close for me as it did when I was applying for medical schools. I know that my main focus is learning the class material well, which I am doing; but I am really trying to be proactive and avoid history from repeating itself! At this point, I would gladly give up my class rank to get a decent score on boards!!

My performance on COMBANK and USMLErx has been hanging around the 50% mark. If I get a question wrong, its normally the 2nd most popular answer.

So my question is this, 6 months out, where should I be putting my focus on? Kaplan? DIT? Questions only?

Thank you all so much!
