I have sent my transcripts to AMCAS approx 1-2 wks ago, but they have only received one.
I took the MCAT on the 26th of May and the scores will be released on 6/28/2011.
Should I try to submit my application as soon as possible or would it make no difference to wait a little longer (say until 6/28)?
Also, is it useless to submit the application during the weekend? Do people usually submit before the weekend or during the weekend?

It would be best for you to submit as early as possible (assuming everything is entered to your satisfaction), so that when your transcripts have all been received, there is no additional delay in entering the verification queue.

I don't think it's useless to submit during the weekend. Though we might speculate as to whether work is done on the weekend, it is reasonable to assume that the timestamp of submission is taken into account when determining the order of applications in line for verification.
