Hi all,
I'm a Canadian applying to several dental schools both in Canada and US. I took CDAT in february 09 and received 19 something in average. Since my gpa isn't too strong, I'm planning to retake DAT in November 09. My question is, can I submit my application through AADSAS now and submit the new DAT scores later to the schools? Would the schools look at the November DAT scores?

i don't know about dental schools in Canada, but in the US, you can submit new DAT scores later to the schools. but remember that by November, most if not all the schools have already looked through your application and have already interviewed people since a lot of acceptances go out dec 1.

If you're waiting until November to give yourself time to study, you really don't need that long...I think you can be more than prepared in 2 months or less...I wouldn't wait any later than the end of August to take the DAT if you're hoping to be in the group with Dec. 1st acceptances.
