question about tfe on the dat

so ive read people that say on the real dat, the line counting method doesnt work at all, and then other people have said it does work for some of the questions.
anyone care to help me out here??
when you say it doesnt work at all, does that mean that for all 15 questions, by using this method you couldn't eliminate any of the answer choices?? or does it mean, that for a bunch you can eliminate it down 2, and then you have to picture it..

I'm interested in this answer as well. I usually use line counting to narrow it down to 2-3 answer choices then look deeper.

Is Crack PAT TFE good practice for the real DAT TFE?

i have been using crack, and up until i heard the method doesnt work, i was getting 14/15 on tfe with the strategy..however, now i try to just visualize it and it takes longer + i get more wrong🙁

Crack's TFE is a perfect representation of the actual DAT. The line counting method only works on some problems and it rarely if ever gets you the answer. Usually it will get you down to 2, and generally it doest work. You have to be able to recognize quickly when you can and when you cant use it.

Yea, even on CRACK PAT it only works on a couple.

Agreed. Event counting worked on a few, but not many. I hate TFE.. so glad it's over. 😳 I saved that section for last and took my time on it.
