question about the laminated surface

So on the scheduling permit, it says that we'll be given a laminated surface to write our name, CIN, and making notes. So are we allowed to write things on there during the test like calculations and what not? I'm a bit confused.

Yes you can. You can't take it out of the room with you on breaks or anything, but everything I wrote on it stayed on the thing the whole time. Beware that its a dry-erase marker though and you write your CIN nubmer on it which has to be typed in before each block. I accidentally erased part of my number once but luckily I somehow remembered it before the next block started.

Yes you can write whatever you want. You are given something to erase so you can write over and over.

At my testing center, we were given laminated pieces of paper. If I left the marker on for too long and tried to erase it, the ink became smudgy. 😡 Fortunately they gave us 2 pieces of paper so I then used one for equations and things that I had to remember and wouldn't erase, and I used another one for writing down my thoughts and calculations. I was hoping that they would give us white boards but I suppose the paper worked out okay.

Yeah, I didn't really like them. They're all squared and kind of hard to read. Also when you write your CIN number on one of them and turn it on the other side, it smudges off and then you can't read it anymore. Not that I could ever read my own hand writing in the first place.

I used mine to glare at my astonishing good looks. Sure it took 20 minutes from my actual test time, but boy did I look pretty!
