I am wondering how AADSAS does the process..

the application starts on beginning of June ,, right ?

does it mean that I can start to do application from that time ? or can I finish everything untile begining of june and I can just press the submit button and make it done right away ?

also, other question..

I need to send my transcript to AADSAS before the June so that I can apply early. right ?

but usually semester end around middle of May and if I send transcript to AADSAS as soon as possible, I still won't make the start date.. because it will take time for them to calculate my GPA right ?

I am so confusing, because if calcuating GPA takes about few weeks, then can I just take DAT on June ? becase it will take about 2 weeks to get to AADSAS..

I don't know how I should measure the time line .. it's so confusing..

do you guys have any suggestion about the FASTEST STEP for application ?

The application/portal opens in June. Usually its the 1st week or so. It'll obviously vary depending on dates. Its unlikely they will open it on a weekend. they might wait til the 1st business day.

Until the application/portal option you can NOT submit anything. You can not print transcript matching forms or request LORs.

Once the portal opens you can if you have everything all completed ahead of time, enter and submit + pay the very 1st day.

your application though will sit and do nothing until ALL your transcripts with matching form arrives. (This will vary from school to school. My school takes the full 6 weeks to process request. there's nothing I can do to hurry them up. its a free service with practically unlimited request. there is no rush fee option.)

Once they have your transcripts it'll take generally 2-3 weeks to calculate your gpa. they say 4-6 weeks though but its likely to cover themselves if they are backlogged.

Your application will be processed even without your DAT and all your LORs in. AADSAS only really cares about your transcripts.

once your DAT and LORs come in they will just "mail" it out in later batches if it does not come in time for when you file is mailed out.

So for now you can work on your personal statement, get LORs lined up and study for the test.

Remember being 1st is meaningless if you turn in a poor DAT score.

thanks for the answer,

Ok, I have few more answers,

1. Can I write everything up before the apply date and then just press the submit button ? or I have to wait for the date and then start to write down everything..

2. Can I just send LOR and Transcript earlier before the date to make them start doing my document when apply date comes.

3. So, DAT score will get to aadsas after few weeks, so you're saying I better to take it few weeks before the date starts , right ?

So,

If I send every documents to the AADSAS before the application date, also take DAT few weeks from the date, then it's going to be fine right ?

1. You don't have access to the portal, so you can write anything. You can make an account now to see what you need to fill out, but you can't access the portal for next's years app until first week of June.
2. You need matching forms. I wouldn't run the risk of sending it early since they may just toss it out.
3. He's saying you it's best to take it when your ready. You can have your DAT scores ready by first week of June, but if they suck, it'll hurt you more. Ultimately, if your app is in by mid July you're good.

I think you are worrying too much about getting everything in first week of June. Truth be told, the first mail out date is like 2 weeks after the cycle opens up.

1. No. as I said before without access to next years portal you can't do anything. You can prep things ahead of time like your personal statement then copy and paste it once the portal opens and submit the 1st day. Lots of people do that.

2. again without access you have no matching forms. Thus they have no idea who to pair up your transcripts with.

For both #1 and #2. You are given a unique ID number each year. So you cannot use this years form for next year.

3. No. I'm saying you take it when you're ready. If happen to be ready to take exam in May, fine. If its mid june cool. the point is you take it when you're ready. Not to be able to submit day 1. People get so caught up in applying early they don't stop and think that the schools do not care about being 1st in line. they are not gonna say well this person scored 15s but they submitted everything day one we'll give them a break.

Nope. AADSAS get's transcripts for all 14K+ people that apply every year. You need a transcript matching form or else you risk a huge delay while they try and find your transcript you sent them without a matching form. Again, I'd highly recommend starting an AADSAS account now and looking through it to get an idea.
