I applied last year as a rising college senior and was not admitted, and am trying again this year. I will be attending a 1-year masters program, but I'm not sure how to indicate this properly on AMCAS with regards to transcripts. If i check the box that says yes, a transcript is required, this is pointless because I haven't started the program yet and my AMCAS will be submitted before I start the program. However, if i check no, AMCAS says that i'm requesting a transcript exemption and that this may cause my application to be delayed. I'm at a loss- what should I do here? It looks like if i check yes AMCAS won't let me submit unless I provide some sort of transcript, which as I said above, I do not have yet. advice from adcoms @Goro @LizzyM @gyngyn @gonnif and others would be much appreciated.

If you are registered for classes, Check to see if the school has an official transcript for you with courses you are registered for listed on it. AMCAS has an option for “planned classes” or something along those lines. If listed you can do this. If not, then follow the advice of @gonnif
