Question about transcript submission

Am I able to submit a transcript to AADSAS before I electronically submit my application? I'd like to get my transcripts out of the way first while I work on the rest of my application.

You should do both at the same time. You can't submit the application until you fill out all the necessary fields and print out the transcript matching forms. So print out the forms, get the transcripts sent in and while your waiting for the transcripts to be processed complete the rest of the application.

You can have the transcripts sent to you plus you can put the matching form in a envelope and then put BOTH in one bigger envelope and mail that yourself. As long as the transcript envelope's seal is good to go, then you're good to go as well.

This saves a lot of time.

why would anyone need to do this? you just have the schools forward to the transcripts to adsas and you submit the app before hand..

I'd be worried about doing that. I know you said it worked for someone in the past, but unless they went to some sloppy school that couldn't figure it out, especially if it was something you had to coordinate from a distance, I wouldn't mess with this. If you do, I would attempt to have it done properly first and do this as backup several days later. It doesn't hurt to send multiples. It just shows up again under transcripts (as an AU).

I would rather risk it showing up without the matching form than showing up with the form but having the envelope from the school addressed to me. So maybe doing both is a good option so you're not relying on just the one. They'll match it up. It's not going in the trash.

I think your schools can handle it though.

Because I don't live near any of my CC's or undergraduate universities.

doesnt it specifically say the transcript has to be straight from the school...cannot have been issued to student to send in
