they say that they don't send secondary to everyone, but is it really true?

i am just wondering. has anyone got rejected without getting their secondaries?

thanks.

I know of 2 people who got rejection letters before receiving a secondary. They had MCAT scores in the mid 20's and decent GPA's... I'm not sure what they scan for, but my MCAT score and GPA was very close to theirs, if not a little lower, and I got a secondary... I dunno.😕

Tucom gets about 4000 applicants, half of which will get secondaries. Dr. Haight personally reads all of the secondaries. He doesn't get vote in the selection process, but he does hand select every interviewee. If you get a secondary, it means that you meet their (relatively stringent) minimum requirements for admission. If you get an interview, it means that Dr. Haight saw something in your application that says you will be a fit at TUCOM. I don't know what happened to your friends. Maybe they were lacking a certain prerequisite.
