On Tufts website adn the email they send to interviewees it says you must have 8 credits of general biology, which cannot be taken at a community college. I took my two intro biology classes at community college, but I am a biology major so I have 32 other credit hours of biology classes. Does anyone know if they will make an issue about this or since I am a biology major do my other classes take the place of that?

Thanks

Hi there,

Did you take the other 32 credit hours at a community college as well? Because Tufts will only accept courses from a college or university.

This is from their admission website: "All pre-requisite coursework must be completed at an accredited 4 year college/university. Community college coursework is not accepted."

Best of luck to you!

If the other 32 credits are from community college they wont accept it. A few dental schools only accept from University/Colleges and not from Community colleges. However it can never hurt to call them and see. And if the other 32 were not at a Community college you should not have a problem.
