So after watching Ari's video on Pattern folding on his DAT BC site, I found that a few of the sample questions he does are incredibly easy. I looked in the Kaplan book and found the same things.

Some of the shapes/sides in the answer choices aren't even found in the original question. That's incredibly easy and takes 20 seconds. Now the actual generator questions are extremely difficult and take me roughly 4 minutes each. And i'll still miss 50%. Which is a more accurate representation?? The ones where shapes aren't even in the original question, or incredibly hard ones where they all look the same?

Also, can someone please explain the "rocks" in the pattern folding? Any sites explaining or otherwise would be extremely helpful. Thanks!

On my actual DAT, most of my pattern folding were dice problems or cube pattern foldings. There were like 4 easy ones but most of them were not super easy..

Hey y'all, i was wondering if anyone can relate this section of the test to the real thing? i am not so great at this when it comes to bootcamp but i do good on crackdat pat.

The only section on the dat that killed me was the keyholes. Everyone keeps saying boot camp keyholes were hard, imagine keyholes where lines are blurry and proportions are off. That's the dat for you. Everything else including pattern folding is child's play compared to boot camp.
