Question about when to apply

I know this is in the guide, but I want to make sure i'm understanding this correctly.

I haven't taken the MCAT yet, and am registered for April.

I can apply for SMP programs NOW and report my score when I get it. Is this correct?

If so, is it too late to apply 🙁
