Hey first ever post! So anyway I need to finish my course selection for the next semester and as I was looking in the catalog I found two separate courses for Organic Chemistry one is just Organic Chemistry the other is Modern Organic Chemistry just wondering what the difference is since I cannot seem to even find an answer on Google.

Modern Organic Chemistry? That sounds like an applied course or something. In my opinion, can't go wrong with the standard course "Organic Chemistry" 👍 Of course, it may be more beneficial to ask fellow students at your institution, or even the professors themselves.

Just register for the regular Ochem, that's all you need.
