Can internationally trained dentists work as dental assistance? If one can, what are the steps the need to be taken in order to actually start doing so?

Another question I have is should I consider taking part 1 over if I scored an 82 since most universities I looked at so far are asking for 85 min...?

Thanks! 😀

Yes in most of the states you can work as dental assitant. Some states need X ray certification..check with the specific state board to get precise info. Also check DANB website which will guide you more.

You can voulnteer in any state, no issues abt it, but to get paid you need the visa which allows you to work in US.

Hope it helps.
