hey guys, so I am applying next year, so do you think it's a good idea to send a letter, including my CV to some schools, and ask them to send me more info, and help and stuff, or is it just a waste of time??

You can start going to the open houses and doing school visits at the schools that allow them. Some people on SDN were able to meet with Deans but not sure how and what happened.

I agree that it is a good idea to throw your name out there and get some information on the schools. I do, however, believe it would be in poor taste to send a C.V. They wouldn't do anything with it anyway.

I agree. Attend open house sessions and when they come to campus visit make sure to meet with people. Some schools will allow you to schedule a campus visit so try doing that too.
