question banks for step 2
Started by xarkx
USMLE World is the standard and you should DEFINITELY use this one. I used USMLERx (produced by First Aid) as my question bank throughout the year and then UWorld during my dedicated study time with good results.

Having followed the Step 2 CK forum, there are plenty of people who ace this exam using just UWorld for the QBank. In fact, most people recommend UWorld above all else (even texts) for Step 2 review. So I would say UWorld is definitely enough.
No problem best of luck. I am going through the Step 2 UW QBank right now!
Like many others I was a big fan of USMLERx for step 1 and, in addition to UW, I even dabbled with Kaplan. Those things aside I am considering Qbanks to use alongside M3 and having opened up sample blocks of USMLERx and Kaplan for Step 2. After doing so I was surprised to find that there were no references to review texts associated with the question explainations. No page numbers to FA (c'mon Rx), MTB or Step Up. Is this just unique to the sample questions they provide or are there just no page references in these Qbanks for Step 2. I know, I know, all hail UWorld but I am wondering about these ancillary Qbanks as well.
Additionally, is Rx for Step 2 essentially the FA text in question form as it was for Step 1?
Thanks!

Bump. Nobody has any input???
Use Uworld alongside your rotations with studying and watch yourself do well on shelves. This also gives you a good 1x through before your dedicated studying
