Does anyone know why LH:FSH ratio is greater than 3:1 in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome? I can't seem to find the answers...
Thanks.

first PCOS is not very well understood, but according to what I understand:

there's a complex relationship that causes the excess estrogen to have a negative feedback effect on the FSH and a positive feedback effect on the LH, presumably b/c it's at a high enough level to allow for that.

Hope this helps
