Question for Canadian Students

When I was in college in Canada nearly 20 years ago, no institution gave out athletic scholarships.

Is that still the case today, or do any Canadian universities give athletic scholarships or admissions consideration for student athletes?

Monetary scholarships - no. On the other hand, I do believe if they are recruited for sports a coach will "go to bat" for them to ensure they gain admissions into the school (academics).
