Question for dentists

I will be shadowing a dentist soon and I was wondering, What are some good questions to ask a dentist that would show I am interested in the field. I have done alot of research on dentistry so I usually answer my own questions through my own research. I really want a reccomendation letter from this dentist so what kinda of questions would help me in my situation.

You will see lots that you won't understand and lots that will amaze you. dentist's jobs are truly intriguing, you got nothing to worry, just observe and you'll find yourself tonnes of questions to ask 😛 and then you just gotta filter out the stupid ones "i.e. oh, so you don't reuse the cottons?" or "wow that's sharp, what if you cut the patient?"
