Or anyone else familiar with the OBGYN sub-specialties.

Can someone give a brief description of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Reproductive Endocrinology, Urogynecology, and Gynecologic Oncology?

Can you include in the description the years of training for each fellowship, types of procedures, average hours, earning potential, specific medical liability premiums, are most of these specialists in group or solo practice, are they limited to academic centers and/or urban areas? In terms of lifestyle, do any of these specialties afford a better lifestyle than others?

Thanks!!

Every specialty has a professional association, and a webpage is up there for OB/GYN. It even tells you what you need to know for the liscensure exam (there's a fellowship, research and an oral exam)--it's up there on the web, ust look! ;-)

PS--I can tell you that the exam for maternal/fetal is given every other year if that helps--and it's info I found on their website!
