Question for Midwestern CCP Students

I am still contemplating whether to go to this school or not and I wanted to know if any current students could tell me what their first year was like? In regards to classes, schedual, time in school etc. I have never been on the quarter system so any insight would be appreciated. Also, what are these "group workshops" that you have for biochem?
