Question for New Yorkers

Is it true that CABRINI MEDICAL CENTER and OUR LADY OF MERCY HOSPITAL are going to close soon? I am applying to CMC and nothing came about this during interview season ( ). My aunt called yesterday to tell me she read about it in a local newspaper!

there are rumors that funding to hospitals will be decreased by many millions of dollars in NYC. ON the hit list are smaller hospitals, which includes Cabrini and several others...

I don't think either one is closing...
I am most certain about OLM...they will be around at least for the next 5 years (funding in place) and there has been no real talk of closing (people may have rumored) even after that.
