Question for NYC residents/NYU students...

Are there any driving ranges nearby the school area? As in short cab ride? I just started golfing again and was thinking about taking my sticks to NY, unless the driving ranges are too far away.

And do any of you guys golf? If so, are green fees pretty expensive out there? If there are enough golfers, we should arrange golf outings. Nothing better than a case of beer and 18 holes of golf. 😀

im wondering the same thing...im always down for a good round of golf. My plan is to just leave the sticks home in Michigan at first, then once I figure out where/who to play with, ill bring them to NY in the spring...

If you want to go out to a decent course, you need to go out to LI, Westchester, or NJ. There is an indoor driving range in downtown Manhattan but it's ridiculously expensive.

Within Manhattan Chelsea Piers is a great albeit expensive driving range, as for full-fledged courses you're going to need wheels.

trump in briarcliff.there are a bazillion golf courses up here in westchester, bust most of em are member only private ones.

Wow, thats a pretty convenient service. You ever use it? You play golf? If you do, how do you usually get to the range?
