For those of you who are applying to D.O. schools a second time, what are you allowed to keep from the previous application cycle?

Can you use the same personal statement/letters of rec/secondaries?

What did you have to do over again is my main question

i would write new essays for the personal statement and secondaries. you want to show them growth/improvement. as for letters of rec, i think updates for old letters and maybe one additional/new letter would be helpful.

as for me...i rewrote my personal statement.
but im going to keep a lot from my other essays i wrote to use as secondaries again.
i think what killed my chances was a late application (made it complete at march 1st deadline) and low MCAT. I have since applied early and increased my MCAT score. I got a new LOR to add in the mix too.
