Question for reapplicants

For those of you who did not match into derm on the first try, how many times did you apply before you were able to get a spot?

I reapplied once and matched. But I waited to reapply until I was done with intern year and halfway through a clinical research fellowship.

i applied a total of 3 times. the first time i applied broadly, the second time (during intern year) i was geographically limited so only applied to a small number of programs, and the third time i applied to every single program in the country.
