Question for those Mailed out on 7/17/09

hey!

So in AADSAS my mailing date says 7/17/09, and from what I've been reading from the forums from the first two mailings most applicants had one date which changed to another. The first date was the electronic and the second was the hard copy mailing apparently?

So i just wanted to check with other people who had mailing dates of 7/17/09, because its been a week and my mailing date never changed and under mailing status there hasn't been any changes. Does this mean they haven't mailed a hard copy yet? Or that they mailed the hard copy on 7/17/09 as well?

Oh...I know for sure that NSU and Indiana received my application because they e-mailed me, I'm just waiting on the other schools.

I also was a 7/17 mailing date applicant. I just heard back from tOSU, Louisville and IU. I think your application was most likely mailed on 7/17 as mine was because we both heard back from IU.

ya mine was mailed out 7/17 as well and i have heard back from louisville, nsu, kentucky, and florida i think i saw something in one of their messages that says they update it every friday? so i am waiting today to see if they update it and change that blank status of mine

oh and just heard from NYU this morning.....so i mean hearing from schools = good sign...but i'm still confused about whether or not my hard-copy of my application got sent out or not

I'm pretty sure it did. 7/17 was a date when they mailed hard copies. No worries, sounds like things are moving right along for you😀

if it lists as being mailed out originally 07/17 then on 07/17 does your status become "Application Mailed out"?

i know somewhere else in the forum, i cant remember where, someone said that the status is an option for schools to use? so that they can say that they got it...i dunno....i know for sure that some of my schools got it cuz they sent me emails but under mailing status its still a blank for those schools

someone please correct me if im wrong on that 🙂

UNLV: Sent secondary/payment & Nothing
UNC: Sent secondary/payment/honor code form & Nothing

I am a little frustrated cause I was one of those that had my app verified by AADSAS on 6/20 saying that I would be in the first mailing, and somehow I didn't get mailed until the 17.

Let me know fellow 17th-ers have you heard anything from these schools?

If it makes you feel better, my app was mailed out on 06/29 and 07/02 and I have not heard anything at all from UCLA. Columbia has only cashed my check and nothing besides that. VCU has not sent me an email saying that my app is complete (they said to check AADSAS, they update it weekly.. don't know when). NYU updated that my app is complete only last Friday (July 24th).

If you look under the SCHOOL DECISION tab you can see which school has updated your application to RECIEVED/UNDER REVIEW

My SCHOOL DECISION tab says "There is no decision information available." Is this the case for any other 17th-ers??

I've gotten emails from Buffalo, Nova, Louisville, NYU, VCU, and WVU. Buut.. no interviews, and everything is submitted, including checks/supplementals for all schools that requested.

I'm waiting impatiently for that "School Decision" tab to change!! 😳

mine was saying that my app was mailed out on 7/10. Ive got some 2ndaries and all and it seems that all the schools have received my application! i just checked on my aadsas on the dental school designations, it says "Mailed" just today! it used to be blank! i dont what these guys are up to!
