I've looked through all the info I have from Boston U, and I can't figure out where I'm supposed to show up on the morning of my interview? All they seem to tell me is that it's from 8am-3pm. Anyone know the building I'm supposed to go to?? Thanks!

From the interview confirmation email:

Office of Admissions, 715 Albany Street, Instructional Building, Room L124

But this is a little misleading. So you get out of your cab or walk to 715 Albany Street, but the building you're going to is actually behind the 715 Albany building. You walk through a courtyard behind 715 to get there. I would take the map with me if I were you.

awesome - thanks 🙂 My email ate up my confirmation email, so that's how I missed out on the address.

***sorry, I missed the reply that starts out sounding a lot like mine....well, here it is anyway if you want more details****

Hi there,

The address is a little misleading. You are supposed to go to the admissions office in the SOM Instructional Building on Albany Street (but it is set back from Albany Street). When I went there, I asked people where the instructional building is, and nobody knew what I was talking about.

I took the green line to the "symphony" stop and walked up Mass ave (about 1/2-3/4 mile walk, a nice walk along a corridor of brownstones, but you can always bus or cab - it from the T-stop. There is info on the BU website as to the bus/subway routes appropriate for your starting point). When you get out of the T, ask to make sure you are going toward the BUMC. When I hit Albany street (it crosses Mass ave) I took a left and walked about 3 minutes, until I saw 85/91 East Concord Street (which crosses Albany street). On the opposite side of the street from 85/91 East Concord Street is the B.U. School of Public Health (715 Albany Street). Go down Concord between these two buildings, and you will see a courtyard and a sign for the SOM building. Inside, there is a security guard who can direct you to the admissions office, where you can pick up your folder of information, etc. This may not be the most direct directions, but they got me there. Perhaps some other interviewees have suggestions for a better route.

Also, there is a campus map on the BU website that you may find helpful... if you get a chance to print one up before your interview day.
Good luck.
