Hi there! I was wondering if any students have rotated through christ hospital or the jewish hospital in cincinnati? Do you have any inputs on the hospital there? can u compare the hospitals?
I have an interview at both hospitals for internal medicine and was wondering if anyone can give me some first hand experiance.

thanks much 👍 👍

I have heard nothing but good things about both. I did my surgery and anesthesia rotations at Christ. I really liked it. The nursing staff is really nice and helpful, which makes the residents happy. And nice facilities. I don't know about IM there, but as far as surgery goes, it's a busy but pleasant hospital. UC's surgery residents rotate there, and they were much more laid back at Christ compared to when they were at University Hospital. It's not a level 1 trauma center, but there is a lot of variety. Just as many ORs as University, but not busy all through the night. More private patients than at University, but it's in the middle of the city (a couple blocks from University), so it's not all suburban folk either. A good mix.

I've also heard good things about Jewish. It seems very similar to Christ. It's right across the street from the upscale mall.
