I think I got this totally wrong
I took ochem 1 (3 credits) ochem lab (2credits) and ochem 2 (3 credits)
it totals up as 8 credits semester hours and I thought this will
fulfill the requirement for 1 year ochem

but all schools say with lab~~~~ except few like tufts and upenn
So I have to take ochem lab for 2nd semester ochem
right? :scared:

Dont worry.. my school has the same set up ..
and my sister applied to many schools. including Columbia, NYU, Penn, UoP, UCLA Uconn..
and she got ito about 8 schools.. none complained about orgo labs..

The University of Texas does it the same way. Unfortunately for me, A&M didn't, so I have the pleasure of having 3 hours of orgo lab. Whatever it takes....

You need 8 credit hrs. At A&M the classes are 3 each and the labs are 1 each. If you take both classes you only need 2 hours of ochem lab so you have to take both labs. Where do you get 3 hours of lab from?
