Not that its likely, but if you finish a section 5 minutes early and click end block, does that time get added to your break time? If not, I was wondering if you did finish early (but NOT hit end block) can you just sit at your section and just meditate (hence using that time sort of as break time).

Thanks

yeah that extra time gets added to your next break. While its a pain to get up, sign out, sign in..etc..I think its still good to do that...because you get to walk away from the desk and get that blood flow going..but w/e is convenient for you..Gl.

I actually don't recommend ending blocks early. Use every minute you have to review both marked AND UNmarked questions. I found an error I had made on my real exam on an unmarked question, which made me thankful I had committed to going back to look everything over. You're 110% going to realize errors you made in the weeks following your exam. Minimize these as much as possible.

Just to offer a dissenting POV, I've never really checked my questions once I've moved on to the next one (I may "check" it before I move on by rereading the stem and whatnot), and I didn't do so on the real deal. I used the extra time as break time, which I felt was very ample. Spent a good amount of time playing an FPS on my phone, and it was a helpful mind refresher. I never did think of any stupid mistakes I made on the exam, though I'm not one to remember questions very well afterward. My advice would be to experiment with different strategies during practice tests (that simulate real conditions as best as possible) and do whatever you find works on your real deal

I disagree as well. It's nice to go back and check some questions if you have time. And I was pretty liberal on marking questions to return to (and I would recommend doing that). However, if you go through every question for 7 hours, you are going to drive yourself absolutely crazy. You may have found a mistake, but you also don't know if you changed any right answers to wrong ones (though statistically, you are more likely to change to the right answer- uworld will also track that for you on practice tests which is a nice feature).

For me, it was important to get up after every block and stretch. That helped, and if that is anyone's style, definitely do that. I did take all the time on a few of the blocks, but I did end several early as well. The ones that I took all the time were the ones that I really, really needed a break after due to the stress of it, so I was glad I had some extra break time.
