Hi, I've been practicing w/ Topscore and acethedat, and I noticed that they are a bit different when it comes to the format. For Topscore, you could check every single question even after you are redirected to the screen where they show all your answers. For acethedat, however, you have to type the questions in the "Go to Question" box individually in order to view them again. So which one is more like the real DAT?

The reason I'm asking this, is because I plan to recheck all my answers if time allows, and don't want to keep on hitting the "back" button and "forward" button, which would be time consuming.

Thanks 🙂

Top Score is very close the real thing... visually and the type of questions... thats my opinion

Yep, topscore is pretty close. Just remember that for the reading comp section. You won't be able to use your mouse wheel to scroll through the passages.

and the resolution sucks (800x600 proally) so you can only see about 5 -7 lines and often you have to scroll just to see all the answers. Instead of next the button jumps to the bottom of the page. I would adjust your rez to 8x6 when practicing with topscore.

On the real test ...it doesn't scroll too fast... it's very controllable.. unlike the KAPLAN reading comp.... damn that scrolled way out of control.... very fustrating...

lol! yea, the kaplan thing drove me nuts, i was seriously going to smash my computer with a bat. haha just kidding. it was annoying though. Can you hit 'A' 'B' 'C' 'D' 'E' for answer choices and 'N' for next on the real DAT? just like in kaplan and topscore tests?

I noticed that topscore was just like the real thing, almost exaclty. I couldn't tell the difference other than topscore gives you a menu at the top to stop the timmer!! Tha'd be nice on the real one. When I reviewed qestions, I 'marked' them and clicked on the review marked and it que'd up all the marked ones just like topscore did. In fact, it seems like topscore buttons, fonts etc. were exactly like my real dat.

i never had a wheel mouse at the testing center. it was a regular two button mouse...did anyone get a wheel mouse???

I did notice on topscore, i set it to 800x600 and it was perfect on my 17 inch screen at home. I got a 17 inch screen in the testing center. I did have to 'hide' my start task bar at home (just right click on the task bar, select properties and click auto hide. it makes it disappear.
