I was looking at alot of other peoples scores in comparison to their percentiles... and i just don't understand mine. Maybe someone can help clarify. Most people that score around a 20 are in the mid 80's percentile range. Here is a breakdown of my scores.

PA 20 (81%)
QR 16 (65%)
RC 20 (79%)
Bio 21 (96%)
GC 19 (80%)
OrC 22 (94%)
TS 21 (96%)
AA 20 (93%)

21=96.1% TS?

20 = 93.4% AA?

could it possibly be a small sample size or jst a harder version I guess? maybe i don't really get how it works

Don't think about it too much. You'll end up going crazy...No one really knows how these percentiles work. Besides, schools don't even look at them. So why bother?
Based on what I've read on these forums, people get different percentiles, because they take different versions of the test (difficult vs. easy).

The frequency distribution that you are given is a comparison of how well you did relative to your subgroup, In your case, for TS it simply means that only 3.9% scored higher than you at that particular point in time while for 2007 only 3.6% achieved that number.

I've noticed that a lot of people taking it now have crazy high percentiles for their scores. I think it's because the people taking it with you now (May - June) crowd are getting lower scores on average. Maybe because they are rushing to take it as AADSAS opens up, or maybe some other reason. People in the April crowd had lower percentages as did people throughout the past year. I suspect percentages will go back down once the summer crowd arrives after studying for months.

In the past, the Jan-June crowd was roughly 20-25% of those taking the DAT.
