Hi Sdn,
I'm a rookie accepted medical student to Azcom and will be starting this September.

I have few questions regarding rotations. My rotation region for 3rd year is in La. I chose this because I didn't know which region was great and knowing that ppl would want to switch with me. I'm trying to get into another location that I heard had better reviews from some older students that is not in La. However, should I stay in La if I want a better chance at getting a residency in La or does it not matter and should I trade to stay in East Valley for the better probability of rotation quality? A D.O. Who mentors me told me that who you know really matters, especially for residency. She got into a really good residency apparently from knowing the people at her rotation site. I am originally from La county; nevertheless My main goal is to become the best physician I can be which means I want to be trained under the best senseis I can get haha. If I can get a better residency position over ones in California, I would definitely jump on it. My dream goal is to be trained the best as possible and come back to live in California to be a physician.

The uploaded filed has all the hospital and preceptor sites.

@Seth Joo I was wondering if you could chime in.

Also, I apologize if this does not belong here, but thought maybe this topic was more general than school specific.
