Question on Step II

Hi everyone. I have just finished my MSIII year and my question is regarding when I should take Step II.

Any words of wisdom? Or other pros/cons I should be considering?

Take Step II now and get it out of the way... you are right that unless you blow it out of the water it likely won't make much of a difference to you application, but believe me that you will be wishing you had just gotten it over with come March of your 4th year...

At the very least take CS

yeah i would take it before the research year too. more and more programs are looking for it, and it will be much much harder for you to prepare for and take 2 years from now.
