I authorize this Recommender to comment on my academic performance (i.e. grades)(FERPA Act): Yes; No?

I am a little bit confuse about this question. If my recommender is my supervisor or an optometrist, I should select NO, right?

I selected no. My optometrist doesn't know my transcript or have access to my grades like a professor. He should be discussing other things like my professionalism and optometric experience.

I'm confused. So if you checked yes, does OptomCas show your transcript/academic grades to your recommendation?

I don't think they do, purejunie. You can, if you wanted to, check yess and not have any uploaded academic grades/transcripts. If you did this, they wouldn't see any information even if you selected yes. I selected yes for all of the letters of rec though.
