What makes that the oral cavity doesn't retain most of the bacteria?

I can' t remember the answer..??NDB part 1 DEC 2003

I THINK and again i say i THINK you are referring to a question that was somethign like " the presence of a capsule in bacteria in the mouth helps them in what?"
I always thought that a capsule helped in the bacteria being protected from phagocytosis and that was even a choice in the question....BUT the answer they had listed was that it "enhances it's presence and accumulation in the oral cavity" ...i dont konw if thats the question ure referring too...hope it helped! 👍

no is not!
I think one of the answer was salival fluid..!
Does salival fluid avoid the bacteria stays in the oral cavity??or what is the rigth answer?

can u please put the complete question along with the choices ????????????

What make that the bacterias don't get retained in the oral cavity?

a.-Salival fluid
b.-
c.-

sorry ,I dont remember the other answers!!

As far as I know...saliva minimises the risk of buccal infections n dental caries..as it contains 'lysozymes' which are bactericidal breaking down the cell wall of bacteria.and 'IgA' in saliva defends against bacteria on mucosal surfaces.Saliva also contains 'lactoferrin' which is bacteriostatic and prevents the multiplication of bacteria.Plz correct me if I'm wrong!

I actually marked salival fluid as the answer for the same resons...maybe that is why I dont remember the other answers...but then maybe I was wrong..Just wanted to reasure it.!

By the way ,Does anybody knows something about Justasynaptic impulses?

actually, eveything!!..what do u know??
